   Sift flour and salt together.

   Cream butter with sugar till light and fluffy.

   Blend in vanilla.

   Gradually add in flour, mixing only till smooth.

   Blend in nuts.

    Form dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
