Merengues (Little Candy Kisses)

   Beat 2 egg whites until stiff.

   Gradually add sugar while still beating, salt too.

   When quite shiny, fold in vanilla and chocolate bits.

   Drop by scant teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.

   Bake one hour at 250u00b0.

   Do not double recipe.
