1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark molasses
2/3 c. cool water
4 Large eggs
7 c. flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon grnd cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Mix shortening, sugar, molasses and Large eggs.

Blend the 2 mixtures till smooth.

Batter is thick and may need to be hand stirred.

Roll onto floured board and cut with cookie cutters.
