1/4 lb. bulk Italian sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. sweet basil
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
2/3 c. Italian flavored bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c. wine or water
16 to 20 jumbo pasta shells
spaghetti sauce

Saute beef, sausage, onion and garlic until meat is well browned.

Drain off fat.

Add red pepper, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, sweet basil, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, egg and wine.

Mix together.

Cook shells according to package directions. Drain shells well.

Fill each shell with meat filling.

Spread a layer of sauce on bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

Place shells, open side up, in a single layer in the pan.

Cover with sauce.

Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese and bake at 350u00b0 for about 35 minutes until hot.
