2 lb. onions, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
6 c. tomato puree
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
2 c. garlic, chopped
1 tsp. allspice
3 bay leaves
salt and pepper to taste
2 1/2 c. heavy cream
