Steam the zucchini and onion for 2 to 3 minutes or until slightly softened, but still crisp.

Assemble 8 kabobs, alternating meat and vegetables, using 3 to 4 pieces of meat, 2 zucchini chunks, 2 pieces of onion, 2 mushrooms, and 2 cherry tomatoes.

Broil on top rack of over, or grill 5 inches from medium high coals for 10 minutes, or until desired doneness.
