Maple Pecan Muffins

   Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat egg and stir together the syrup, milk, baking soda, melted butter and vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Stir until moistened. Stir in pecans. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Mix cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle over muffins. Bake at 400u00b0 for 15-20 minutes.
