You can add whatever nuts, berries, spices you like - always try, try, try. But I like my granola just plain ol' oats and honey so that's the recipe you are getting here. But again, just add what sounds good and go for it.

Preheat oven to 325F.

In a large bowl pour your rolled oats, cinnamon, salt, (any nuts or berries) and mix together. Then add in honey and mix together making sure to coat all the oats.

On a thin cookie sheet pour your granola mixture and spread out so that it is a nice level surface.

Put cookie sheet in oven for 20-30 minutes. The longer it cooks the crunchier it will be, but keep a close eye on it after the 20 minute mark because you don't want it to burn.

Pull cookie sheet out and serve over vanilla ice cream while it's still warm or wait for it to cool and put it in a container for future granola enjoyment.
