2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 (6 lb) baking hens
2 cups chopped onions (or more)
2 cups chicken broth, pref. homemade (or more)
