Louise's Sweet N Sour Pork

   Cook meat the night before in hot bacon fat until brown.

   Drain pineapple (keep syrup).

   Combine water, brown sugar and vinegar, corn starch, salt, soya sauce and 3/4 to 1 cup of pineapple syrup.

   Cook until clear and slightly thickened (2 minutes).

   Add meat, cook covered over low heat, for 1 hour or until tender.

   Refrigerate 30 minutes.

   Before serving, heat mixture until hot.

   Add green peppers, pineapple and onions.

   Cook for 2 minutes.

    Serve with hot fluffy rice.
