   Melt the chocolate squares and butter over a very low heat in a saucepan( microwave is good too ) Remove from the heat and

   add the sugar. Beat in the eggs and vanilla, then add the flour and salt.Fold in the chocolate chips and or the nuts. Spread batter in a well greased 8X8 pan. Bake at 350 for approx.40 minutes or until the brownies start to pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool on a rack then ice with either a dusting of icing sugar or your favourite chocolate icing
