Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg whites.

Make Dream Whip topping according to package directions.

Add chopped nuts, cottage cheese and salad dressing; mix well.

Whip gelatin after it reaches appropriate consistency with electric mixer until broken up into pea size pieces.

Add pineapple, minus 3 tablespoons, to whipped gelatin and stir together.

Add whipped mixture and mix well.

Pour into 2-quart Pyrex oblong glass dish sprayed with vegetable oil (like Pam). (Will also need another small dish as recipe makes a little more than fits in 2-quart dish.)
