Lemon Pecan Cake

   Dredge pecans and cherries in a cup of flour.

   In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

   Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

   Add remaining flour and lemon extract, beating until smooth.

   Fold in cherries and nuts.

   Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan and bake at 250u00b0 for one hour. Test to see if done.
