Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs hamburger; 2 large onions; small can tomato sauce; 1-2 T cider vinegar; garlic; 1-2 T brown sugar; 1/4 t chili powder; salt and pepper; 1 t worcestershire sauce; 16 oz can tomato puree or tomato sauce; 16 oz can diced tomatoes; 1-2 beef bouillon cubes; raisins; 1 apple (granny smith is good); curry to taste

Servings: persons

1 1/2 lbs hamburger
2 large onions
small can tomato sauce
1-2 T cider vinegar
garlic
1-2 T brown sugar
1/4 t chili powder
salt and pepper
1 t worcestershire sauce
16 oz can tomato puree or tomato sauce
16 oz can diced tomatoes
1-2 beef bouillon cubes
raisins
1 apple (granny smith is good)
curry to taste

Brown hamburger, onions and garlic.

Drain.

Add cider vinegar and brown sugar.

Add salt and pepper to taste, chili powder, worcestershire sauce and bouillon cube.

Add curry according to taste.

Let it all brown another minute.

Add tomato puree and diced tomatoes.

Let simmer a couple of hours on stove top or several in the crock pot.

The last half hour add a peeled, diced apple and some raisins and more curry if you like.

Add more liquid if it needs it.

Serve over rice or couscous.
