   Beat egg whites until stiff; continue beating and add cream of tartar, salt and sugar, a little at a time.

   Continue beating until it holds peaks.

   Fold in chocolate chips.

   Drop by teaspoons onto a greased pan.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes (try to lift off from the cookie sheet; if you can lift off and the cookie does not stick to the pan then it is done).
