Preheat the oven to 400u00b0F. Line a 15 inch square cake pan with parchment paper. Knead the dough again on a floured work surface and roll it out to fit the tray. Put the dough in the tray. Mix the marzipan with remaining eggs and butter and spread over the dough. Arrange the plums in the marzipan and let rise in a warm place for another 30 mins.

Bake the cake on the middle shelf for about 25 mins. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sugar. Let cool before serving.
