dry taco shells
1 lb. ground beef
2 onions, chopped finely
1 tsp. thyme
1/4 to 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning mix (or use 1 whole pkg. if you like tacos spicy)
paprika to taste
small can tomato paste or sauce
salt and pepper to taste
dash of garlic powder
1/2 head shredded (strips) lettuce
shredded sharp cheese
Parmesan cheese

Brown slightly chopped onions before adding beef to brown also.

While browning, add thyme.

To this, add taco seasoning, paprika, tomato sauce or paste, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Stir and continue cooking slowly until right consistency.

Fill taco shells with meat mixture.

Mix shredded lettuce and cheese in bowl.

Put on top of meat sauce filling.

Bake 5 minutes at 300 degrees.
