   Brown meat and onion in frying pan.

   Add salt.

   In a large saucepan, combine undiluted soup and tomatoes.

   Add ground beef mixture and cook slowly about 1 hour.

   Cook noodles; drain.

   In a 2-quart greased casserole, put a layer of noodles; cover with meat sauce and layer of cheese.

   Repeat layers.

   Bake at 350u00b0 about 20 minutes or until bubbly.
