How to make custard from the homemade custard powder recipe

   Put the custard powder into a mixing bowl with 1/2 cup of the milk to make a smooth liquid

   In a pot add the remaining 2 cups of milk and the sugar and slowly bring to a boil ,this allows the sugar to dissolve.

   Once milk is boiling add the custard liquid mixture slowly to it and stir it CONSTANTLY .

   Allow to thicken begin careful that it doesn't burn on the bottom or the side of the pot.

   This should take around 2 minutes only so u need to be stirring at all times.

   Once finished you can use it hot - over Apple pie is amazing,or allow it to cool totally and use in a trifle.
