1. Start with low heat. Add vegetable oil, garlic and shallot, keep sauteeing till its soft and tender.

2. add tamarind paste, palm sugar and white vinegar, keep simmering in a low heat till the sauce getting thick.

according to your taste. It is much easier to stir fry pad thai rice noodles when you have pad thai sauce ready. Enjoy cooking!
