How to Boil Potatoes in a Microwave

   Wash the potato well, then wrap it up in plastic wrap.

   Wrap it loosely.

   Cook in the microwave for about 3 1/2 minutes.

   It will be hot, so let it sit in the microwave for about 5 minutes.

   The skin will become shriveled, but that's okay.

   Once you can hold it, remove the skin through the plastic wrap, a paper towel, or a dish cloth.

   When washing the potato, cut off the eyes.

   If cooking a large potato, rotate it mid-way through cooking.
