At least twenty four hours before cooking peel and chop 1/2 of the apples and soak them in the entire bottle of cinnamon whiskey.

The longer they soak the better they taste.

When ready to cook, drain off the whiskey.

(I like to drink mine, it makes a delicious cinnamon apple drink).

Chop and peel the remaining apples and place In a pot with the cinnamon whiskey soaked apples.

Add 1 cup of hard Apple cider to the pot.

Add 1/2 cup of water to the pot.

( depending on Apple size, you may have to add more liquid)

Put in sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

Cover and boil for about 30 minutes or until apples are soft.

Remove from heat and mash the Apple mixture.

It will thicken as it cools.

Serve warm or chilled and enjoy
