Bring to a boil the contents of the can of garbanzo beans and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

Save the juice from the beans to be used later if the mixture is too thick and needs thinning.

Using a food processor, place all the ingredients (with the exception of the olive oil, paprika and parsley twigs) and blend until mixture is smooth.

Taste to see if you want to add more lemon juice or salt to mixture.

Pour into a nice serving dish; drizzle olive oil on top.

Sprinkle with paprika and add a couple of parsley twigs for added decoration.

Pita bread can be cut into triangles and used to dip into Homos.
