1
- Pour flour into a large bowl.
-
2
Chop up your herb of choice into small pieces and combine with the flour.
-
3
Make a well in the middle of the flour.
-
4
Crack the eggs (whole) into the center and start to incorporate them into the flour.
-
5
(This will be sticky, but its fun to use your hands.)
-
6
When it all comes together, move the dough to a floured surface and start kneading it with your hands for a few minutes.
-
7
Step away from the dough.
-
8
Seriously.
-
9
For about 20 minutes, more if youd like.
-
10
Do you have a pasta roller?
-
11
Great!
-
12
Start rolling it out.
-
13
If youre like me and use a rolling pin, though, dont fret... it will just take a little longer and a little more muscle.
-
14
Try to get the dough as thin as possible.
-
15
I mean *really* thin.
-
16
Like a few sheets of paper thin.
-
17
As soon as you add the fresh pasta dough to your boiling water, they plump up a LOT.
-
18
Cut the pasta in any shape you want.
-
19
Long strips are the easiest for me.
-
20
I use a pizza cutter to make the process go a little faster.
-
21
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a decent handful of salt.
-
22
The pasta should only take 2-3 minutes to cook.
-
23
Enjoy with whatever sauce, toppings, deliciousness you prefer to eat.
-
24
Let me know how it comes out!
