   In heavy medium saucepan, over low heat, cook and stir sugar, water and corn syrup until sugar dissolves.

   Increase heat to medium.

   Cook, without stirring, until a candy thermometer registers 268u00b0 (hard ball stage) or until small amount dropped into very cold water forms a ball.
