1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
3 tbsp. sugar
1 lg. egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. coarsely minced maraschino cherries, well liquid removed
1/2 c. slivered almonds

In a large mixer bowl at medium speed beat brown sugar, butter, and sugar till creamy.
