Ingredients: 2 c. brown sugar, packed; 1 c. shortening; 2 Large eggs; 1/2 c. coffee (cool); 3 1/2 c. flour, unsifted; 2 1/2 c. raisins; 1 teaspoon baking soda; 1 teaspoon salt; 1 teaspoon nutmeg; 1 teaspoon cinnamon; 1 1/4 c. nutmeats, minced

2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. shortening
2 Large eggs
1/2 c. coffee (cool)
3 1/2 c. flour, unsifted
2 1/2 c. raisins
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/4 c. nutmeats, minced

Cream the sugar and shortening together; add in Large eggs and beat well.

In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon; add in alternately to the sugar shortening, with the cool coffee; mix well.

Add in the raisins and nutmeats and blend in.

Refrigeratein the refrigerator for 1 hour, then drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet.

Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 8 to 10 min till set.
