1 pound Hamburger
1 whole Onion, Chopped
2 whole Carrots, Sliced
2 stalks Celery, Sliced
2 cans (15 Oz Each) Italian-style Tomatoes, Diced
1 can (15 Oz) Red Beans, Drained And Rinsed
1 can (15 Oz) Garbanzo Beans, Drained And Rinsed
4 cans (15 Oz Each) Beef Broth
1/2 teaspoons Basil
1/2 teaspoons Oregano
1 package 16 Oz Cheese Tortellini, Fresh Or Frozen

Brown hamburger, onion, carrots and celery together until onion is soft.

Add tomatoes and break them up if you like. Personally, I like. Big, chunky, slimy tomatoes floating around in my beautiful soup? I think NOT.

Add beans and broth.

Simmer till carrots are soft, around 15 minutes.

Stir in basil and oregano and season with salt and pepper if desired, but go easy on the salt-canned broth has a lot in it.

About 15 minutes before eating, increase heat to almost boiling. Add tortellini and cook per package directions. I use Costco's Olivier brand 5-cheese tortellini, sold fresh in the deli section. It's amazing!
