Mix the beef, breadcrumbs, tomato paste and egg and season to taste. Form the mixture into 4 patties.

Preheat the oven to 425u00b0F. Put the fries on a baking sheet and cook them for about 20 mins until golden brown. Turn them after about 15 mins.

Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the patties for about 5 mins on each side until golden brown. Put a slice of pineapple and a slice of cheese on each patty and melt the cheese over low heat for 4-5 mins.

Cut the hamburger buns open and brush the bottom halves lightly with mayonnaise. Top with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and warm hamburgers. Put the upper halves of the buns on top and serve with fries.
