Cream the butter and sugar. Combine to mix the egg, melted unsweetened chocolate, and milk; beat together. Sift and add the flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix in the chopped walnuts and vanilla.

Melt the butter. Add the sugar and milk. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat for 10-12 minutes then gradually add the unsweetened melted chocolate, stirring constantly. Remove pan from heat. (I leave the icing in the pan until it's thick for spreading.)

Pour brownie batter into a greased square dish. Bake at 325F for about 25 minutes.

When brownies are done and while hot, add miniature marshmallows on top until covered and frost with chocolate frosting when cool.
