1 c. tomatoes
10 oz. canned hominy
cabbage (if desired)

Brown meat in butter in a 3-quart saucepan.

Simmer 10 minutes with the pan covered.

Add beef broth or water with bouillon cubes. Add chopped tomatoes and pepper.
