2 Tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. sugar
2 c. tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
6 green onions
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. Mozzarella
2 c. Cheddar, grated

Saute beef in shortening; add garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce.

Cover; cook slowly for 15 minutes.

Cook noodles according to directions. Drain.

Add onion tops to cream cheese and sour cream; put layer of noodles, cream mixture, meat sauce. Repeat.

Sprinkle with cheese and bake about 25 minutes.
