1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. medium noodles
1 c. cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sour cream
1/3 c. sliced green onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese

Brown ground beef and chopped onion in skillet; stir in next 5 ingredients.

Cook noodles using package directions; drain. Combine remaining ingredients except Parmesan cheese.

Mix well. Layer half the noodles, half the ground beef mixture and all the cottage cheese mixture in 11 x 7-inch baking dish.

Add remaining noodles and ground beef mixture.
