Ham Cutlets with Cheese

   These are the ingredients.

   Quarter the cheese.

   You don't need this much chopped spring onion.

   Place the cut cheese on a slice of ham.

   Sprinkle on black pepper and top with chopped spring onion.

   Put another piece of cheese on top.

   Place another slice of ham on top and press tightly, especially around the edge.

   Make two of these.

   Mix a beaten egg, flour and water together.

    After mixing in a bowl, I transferred it to a flat plate because it is easier to handle.

    After dipping the prepared ham in the egg and flour mixture, coat with panko.

    Press tightly around the edges.

    Shallow-fry in oil until both sides are golden crisp.

    Drain off the excess oil on a rack.

    Cut in half.
