Haluski (Cabbage and Noodles)

   Bring water to a rolling boil for noodles.

   In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium to medium-high heat.

   Add garlic, salt, pepper, and shredded cabbage.

   Stir to combine and heat until cabbage is tender, approximately 10-15 minutes.

   Prepare pasta as instructed on the package.

   Toss sliced kielbasa into the cabbage mixture and fry until heated through, and edges of kielbasa begin to crisp.

    Toss cooked, drained noodles and cabbage mixture until combined well.

    De-glaze skillet with pepper brine, and bring brine to a boil, approximately 2 minutes.
