   Split hens down middle.

   Brown rice only 15 minutes in large Pyrex dish at 375u00b0.

   In separate bowl, mix water, package of seasoning from Rice-A-Roni and chicken soup.

   After rice browns, lower oven to 350u00b0; put hens over top of rice (will sizzle).

   Pour mixture over hens; cover and cook 1 hour.

   Uncover 30 minutes to brown.

   Excellent side dish with this:
