Preheat grill to medium-high Combine the soysauce,vinegar,brown sugar,scallions,sesame oil,garlic, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.

Transfer half the mixture to a zip top plastic bag; Save the rest to serve as dipping sauce with tuna.

Add tuna steaks to plastic bag and marinate for 10 - 15 minutes.

Remove steaks from bag and save marinate to baste steaks while on the grill.

Grill steaks, covered for two minutes then rotate each steak to get crosshatch grill marks.Brush the steaks with the marinate and grill for 1 -2 more minutes.

Flip steaks over and brush with more marinate and grill for 1-2 more minutes then rotate for grill marks and grill for 1-2 more minutes.

( Do not overcook) the tuna may dry out.
