Green Bean Baby Food Recipe

   Fill a medium saucepan with 1 inch of water, add green beans, and bring to a boil over high heat.

   Reduce heat to low and simmer until beans are starting to fall apart but are not mushy, about 15 minutes.

   Remove beans with a slotted spoon, reserving cooking liquid, and place in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a blade attachment.

   With the motor running, add 2 tablespoons of the cooking water and process until the beans are pureed and no large pieces or strings are visible.

   Let cool slightly, then divide into 1/4-cup portions, place in airtight containers, and refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze up to 6 weeks until ready to use.
