Great American Brownie

   Melt the butter, semi-sweet chocolate and unsweetened chocolate in a large heavy saucepan over low heat. Remove from the heat. Add the sugar, eggs, flour, salt and vanilla in the order listed, beating well after each addition.

   Pour into a greased foil-lined 8 x 8 baking dish. Bake at 350u00b0 for 25 minutes or until the brownies just begin to pull from the sides of the dish. Cool in the dish on a wire rack to room temperature.
