1 1/2 cups diced candied pineapple
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup shortening (like Crisco) or 1 cup butter (I use butter)
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup apricot brandy
