For Pizza Crust:

Combine yeast, sugar and water in a large bowl and let stand about 5 minutes (yeast should bubble up)

Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. Add egg and oil to wet ingredients, then add dry ingredients. Mix with a hand mixer for a minute, adding a teaspoon of water if dough moves up beaters.

Scoop onto greased pizza sheet. Wet your hands with water and spread dough over sheet and smooth. For a thicker crust, let rise for 30 minutes. Otherwise, continue with the baking directions below.

For Vegan Pesto:

Combine all ingredients in food processor. Should be smooth - not chunky. Add oil as needed. *NOTE - if you don't want a vegan pesto, omit the nutritional yeast flakes for parmesan cheese

After pizza dough rises, spread out on a pizza stone. The consistency WILL be different than a non gluten free pizza crust.

Spread pesto evenly on pizza. Tear up goat cheese slices and spread evenly as well. Put mushrooms, jalepenos and bacon (already cooked) on top. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt and pepper over toppings. Put one more torn up slice of goat cheese on top with some parmesan cheese.

Bake pizza at 425F until pizza crust is golden and cheese has melted, 20-30 minutes.
