Glorified Cabbage

   Boil cabbage in salted water until very tender; drain.

   Saute onions in butter until transparent.

   Add cheese and cook over low heat until cheese melts.

   Add soup and water and blend in well, over low heat; add cabbage and mix well.

   Add bread crumbs until mixture is desired consistency; stir in salt and pepper.

   Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish; sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs. Bake at 350u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly hot.
