1 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/3 c. milk
1 egg
2 c. firmly packed cut cabbage
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. grated cheese
3/4 c. buttered bread crumbs

Melt butter.

Blend in flour, salt, and mustard.

Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.

Cook until smooth and thick.

Beat egg. Add small amount of sauce, stir, return to sauce.
