1/2 cup milk
4 slices firm textured bread, crumbled fine
2-1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, minced
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup chopped parsley
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
2 slices American cheese

Preheat oven to 350F.

Line roasting pan with aluminium foil*; set aside.

In large bowl, whisk eggs with mustard, 3/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp peeper until blended.

Stir in milk and bread crumbs; let stand 5 minutes.

Add ground beef, onion, celery** and parsley.

With hands, mix lightly until well blended.

Turn meat mixture into prepared pan.

Moisten hands with water; shape mixture into 8x5-inch loaf.

Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.

In small bowl, mix glaze ingredients until blended.

Spread mixture over top of meat loaf; bake 15 minutes longer.

Cut cheese in half crosswise into triangles***; arrange over top of glaze.
