2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar

1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 egg
3/4 qt. sliced, hot, cooked potatoes

Fry bacon until delicately brown (about 5 minutes); if very fat, drain, reserving at least 1/4 cup in skillet.
