¾ cup cornstarch
5 egg yolks
38-¾ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup chocolate chips
1 cup coconut

chocolate syrup (to color)
⅓ cup coconut

Heat milk to scald.

Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch in a bowl,add dry ingredients to milk and stir constantly.

Add one cup of hot mixture to egg yolks and stir.

Add back to remaining milk and bring back to boiling for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
