Fudgy Philly Brownies

   Mix cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar until blended well.

   Blend in 1 egg.

   Melt margarine with chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth.

   Add remaining sugar, 3 eggs and vanilla to chocolate mixture; mix until well blended.

   Add flour and mix well.

   Reserve 1/2 cup chocolate batter.

   Spread remaining batter into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

   Pour cream cheese mixture evenly over the chocolate batter.

   Top with the reserved chocolate batter.

    Cut through batter several times for a marbled effect.

    Bake at 350u00b0 for 30 minutes.

    Cut into about 2 dozen bars.
