Ingredients: 1 large can crushed pineapple; 1 small can mandarin oranges; 1 c. syrup; 1/2 c. sugar; 3 Tbsp. cornstarch; 1 envelope unflavored gelatin; 1/4 tsp. salt; 1/2 c. orange juice; 1/4 c. lemon juice; 1 egg; 2 c. mini marshmallows; 1/2 c. nuts; 2 c. whipped topping

1 large can crushed pineapple
1 small can mandarin oranges
1 c. syrup
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 egg
2 c. mini marshmallows
1/2 c. nuts
2 c. whipped topping

Drain fruits and reserve 1 cup syrup.

Combine syrup in saucepan with sugar, cornstarch, gelatin, salt and orange and lemon juices.

Cook until thickened and boil for 2 minutes.

Add a small amount of this to beaten egg.

Return to hot mixture and cook 1 minute longer.

Cool to room temperature and fold in the fruits, marshmallows, nuts and topping.

Use a 9 x 9-inch dish. Cool.

Garnish with maraschino cherries.
