Fruit Cocktail Pudding(Tastes Like Date Torte)

   Sift flour once; measure and sift into bowl with soda, salt and sugar.

   Beat egg and add cocktail, juice and all, and vanilla. Add to flour mixture; mix well.

   Put in 8 x 8-inch greased pan. Sprinkle top of batter with 1 cup light brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.

   Bake in 300u00b0 oven about 40 minutes or until center stops bubbling.

   Cut into squares when cool (9 pieces). Serve with whipped cream.
