1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 medium onion, minced
1/2 c. crackers or more
2 lb. ground chuck
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. ketchup

Combine egg, onion, cracker crumbs, ground beef, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard in small bowl.

Add half of tomato mixture to ground beef mixture and blend thoroughly.

Shape in loaf and make depression in top of meat loaf and pour sauce over top of meat loaf with ketchup.
